Eolas faoin Imeacht

Is léachtóir é Nicholas ag Roinn na Gaeilge agus Léann Ceilteach sa Scoil Teangacha Nua-Aimseartha agus Teangeolaíochta ag Ollscoil Uladh. Beidh caint Nicolas dírithe ar an oidhreacht litríochta an cheantair s’againne, an Dún theas. Beidh Niamh Mateer ina cathaoirleach ag inan imeacht seo. Beidh deis ag na rannpháirithe ceisteanna a chur ar Nicolas. Imeacht trí mheán na Gaeilge atá ann agus beidh fáilte mar is gnáth roimh fhoghlaimeoirí.

Nicholas is a lecturer in Modern Irish at the Irish and Celtic Studies Department within the School of Modern Languages and Linguistics at the University of Ulster. Nicholas’ talk will focus on the literary heritage from our own locality in south Down. The talk will be chaired by Niamh Mateer. There will be an opportunity for the participants to ask Nicolas questions. This talk will be in Irish, but learners are most welcome.
